We caught up with Guillaume Clement, VP of Global e-Marine and e-Transport Solutions with Leclanché Energy Storage Solutions. Not only do they control their production end-to-end by producing their own cells in-house, but their cells have truly remarkable performance specs. For example, their 65Ah NMC cells pack a powerful 180A continuous discharge, yet provide 4000 cycles at 100% DoD, and 7000 cycles at 80% DoD.
In addition to two NMC cell models (60Ah and 65Ah), they also produce LTO cells with a 34Ah capacity that pack a powerful 6C continuous rating (204A) with a 20 second burst capability of 10C (340A). And with a lithium-titanium-oxide anode, these cells can cycle quickly and often, with 15,000 cycles at 100% DoD (at 4C!) and 20,000 cycles at 80% DoD (also at 4C!)
